The 27th National Academic Annual Conference on Electrostatics has successfully concluded
Hosted by the Electrostatics Committee of the Chinese Physical Society and coorganized by the National Technical Committee for Static Electricity Standardization, Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology, the National Key Laboratory of Electromagnetic Environmental Effects and Wuxi Yanping Electronic Technology Co., Ltd., the 27th National Academic Annual Conference on Electrostatics wrappedup successfully in Nanjing on September 22 2025. As one of China’s most influential academic events on electrostatics, the conference gathered experts, scholars from universities, research institutes and enterprises to discuss cuttingedge progress and future directions for staticelectricity research.

Opening Ceremony & Keynote Reports: Academic Luminaries Envision Industry Futures
The conference officially kickedoff on the morning of September 20 2025. University leadership from Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology, Professor Ouyang Jiting (Chairman of Electrostatics Committee, Chinese Physical Society), and leadership from Shijiazhuang Campus of Army Engineering University delivered opening addresses in sequence.
Following the opening ceremony, five distinguished experts delivered keynote speeches that illuminated academic perspectives.
· Research Fellow Ji Qizheng (Deputy Director, Beijing Institute of Spacecraft Environment Engineering): Current Status and Reflections on Spacecraft SpaceElectrostaticEffect Protection Technology. The presentation outlined research directions aligned with domestic spacecraftdevelopment requirements and offered strategic guidance for aerospaceequipment staticelectricity protection.
· Deputy Director Wang Yanping (China Research Institute of Explosive Materials): Progress of Research on StaticElectricitySafety Problems & Protection within ExplosiveArticles Domains. She analyzed emerging staticrisk patterns and countermeasures for explosivematerial scenarios.
· Associate Professor Wen Xiaolong (University of Science and Technology Beijing): Resonant ElectrostaticFieldSensor Technology, Applications and CuttingEdge Advances. He demonstrated innovative MEMS electricfieldsensor deployments in aerospace and powersystem domains.
· Associate Professor Yang Jie (Army Engineering University): ElectrostaticDischarge TestMethodologies and EffectLaws for Novel Devices. Multidimensional failurecharacterization schemes were proposed addressing statictesting bottlenecks amid ongoing miniaturization of electronic components.
· Professor Wan Fayu (Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology): Research Progress on CDM Discharge TestMethodology. The talk addressed the industry painpoint of poor repeatability of lowvoltage CDM test currents within automatedproduction environments.
MultiDimensional Seminars: Seven SubForums Cover Comprehensive Domain Requirements
From the afternoon of September 20 to September 21, seven parallel subforums were held at Yangtze River International Conference Center Longshanhu Hotel. Nearly onehundred oral presentations revolved around core themes: StaticElectricity Hazards & Protection; Electrostatics Fundamentals & EMC Protection; Electrostatic Manipulation (Particles, Droplets, Cells); Dielectric Insulation; StaticElectricity Measurement & Instrumentation; Gas Discharge & Applications; Electrohydrodynamics & Biomedical Electrostatics; and Electrostatics + InterDisciplinary Research. Topics spanned aerospace, electronics, lithiumbatteries, photovoltaic systems and medicaltechnology sectors.

As one of the conference coorganizers, engineers from Wuxi Yanping Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. presented reports in subforum sessions.
· Engineer Sun Weixiang (Yanping Electrostatics), within the “Electrostatic Manipulation (Particles, Droplets, Cells)” subforum, delivered the presentation HighSpeedSwitching ElectrostaticAdsorption Technology Based on HighPrecision Controllable Power Supplies, elaborating application merits of this technology for precise particle manipulation and industrialautomation production lines.

· Engineer Chen Ke (Yanping Electrostatics), speaking in the “StaticElectricity Measurement & Instrumentation” subforum, shared IntrinsicallySafe HumanBody StaticDischarge Instruments for Accurate HumanBodyElectrostaticPotential Measurement. This equipment is purposebuilt for petroleum, chemical and electronics specialrisk scenarios; it displays realtime humanbody electrostatic potential and performs automatic charge release and provides brandnew solutions for industrial staticsafety governance.
